All of a sudden, I found myself thinking sociologically when I was in government class. The first sociological experience I had was when in government class we are asked a question that would strike away the class system essentially instilling equality in our hypothetical situation. Of course I agreed with this post haste but many of my other gov. students went against it for many reasons, they probably follow Emile Durkheim.
I was so excited when this happened because we just learned about 8 sociologists and one of which was one of my idols Karl Marx, though i may not follow Marxism and lean towards more of an anarcho-communist system I still was happy to be able to use my now more vast knowledge of Marx himself in discussion. Also, it was easy to compare many of the people in gov to Emile Durkheim though I refrained from relaying this message to them on the fact that it may be frankly upsetting to here.
